Frequently Asked Questions
What Should I Bring With Me On The Day Of The Event?
Please bring layers since mornings can be chilly but temperatures will rise throughout the day. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen, water, and bike lights for your commute. Sunrise is around 6:45 am. Sunglasses and a hat with a visor (or a helmet with a visor) can help protect against the sun.
For shorter rides, everyday clothing is fine. However, on hotter days or for longer distances, opt for synthetic, moisture-wicking fabrics that dry quickly. On cooler days, a windbreaker or light jacket is a good addition to your gear.
Can I Ride Something Other Than A Bike?
No. To ensure the safety of all participants, only bikes will be permitted on the ride. (eBikes are welcome, but please make sure to fully charge your eBike beforehand and bring your charging cable just in case!)
What If It Rains?
Tour de Proviso will be held rain or shine. Please check our Village website for the latest information leading up to the event.
