Illinois Issues Stay-At-Home Order To Respond to COVID-19 Pandemic

On Friday, March 20, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker issued a stay-at-home order for the entire state beginning on Saturday, March 21 at 5 p.m. and lasting until Tuesday, April 7.

The order means that while the Bellwood Village Hall will be open from 9 a.m. – 12 noon on Saturday, March 21, beginning Monday, March 23 the Village Hall will be closed to the public until April 7. The Village Hall will be closed until April 7 but residents can use the drop box outside of the Village Hall to pay utility bills.

Essential village services shall remain open and respond to our residents, including police and fire services. Please call 911 in case of an emergency.
