Free COVID-19 Vaccines For Bellwood Residents

Bellwood residents, their family and friends can head to a free COVID -19 vaccine clinic provided by the Broadway Medical Clinic to receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. The vaccine clinic will be hosted at the Bellwood Village Hall and Fire Department at 3200 Washington Blvd. The first dose will be administered on Saturday, May 1 The second dose will be given on Saturday, June 5. Both clinics will take place from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Free Testing also is available. To ensure safety, the Bellwood Police Department and the Bellwood Fire Protection District and paramedics will be on site. All residents born on or before May 1, 2005 16 and older), are eligible for the vaccine and any age is eligible for the test. For students 17 and younger, parent consent is required,. Students are allowed to have one parent accompany them if desired.
