Cleanup Week

It’s Time For Clean-up Week
Bellwood residents can bring their piles of trash to the alley for Cleanup Week 2019 from May 6-10. Garbage cannot be placed in the alley before Clean-up Week. Trash will be picked up on your GARBAGE DAY ONLY from its regular location. Residents are asked not to put items in the alley until after 6 p.m. the evening prior to your designated garbage collection day and no later than 7 a.m. on the day of pickup.
Clean-up Week is an annual effort for residents to dispose of tires, furniture, appliances, mattresses and other large items at no charge with the EXCEPTION OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. Do not mix regular garbage like food waste and recyclables with the Clean-Up Week trash.
