This is the area slated for a consolidated inter-modal (train and bus) Metra station on the Union Pacific West Line. Also proposed in this area is retail, commercial, business and mixed usage residential development. Medical, entertainment and government uses are in consideration as part of this development area.
Also within the boundaries of this district, there are proposals for a Supported Living Facility. At St. Charles Road and Mannheim and at St. Charles Road and 25th Street, the village is examining commercial development opportunities.
